Despite the best efforts of bystanders and first responders, some 911 calls in our community end with unfavorable outcomes. Being personally connected to or present for a situation of this magnitude is difficult. A wide range of emotions can follow, and individuals in this situation may struggle to cope with these traumatic events. These emotions are normal, and there are a wide array of grief support resources available in our region for both adults and children.
A good place for many individuals to start is with their own personal clergy members. But for others, a different kind of resource is better suited to their situation. Please consider these following resources to help you navigate your grief journey.
